The supply chain coordinator is responsible for providing support to the buyers.


He will have administrative tasks throughout the supply chain: -



Requisition management

Procurement

Supply Chain Process Management

Inventory Management



Reports to: Procurement Manager - SA


Major Functions/Accountabilities:


Receive all requisitions from end users.

Procure goods if they have been negotiated by the procurement department and are on valid price lists.

Forward ad-hoc purchase requests to the relevant buyers,

Process all purchasing source documents in the computerized system and submit daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports on time,

Update fully & manage Order Tracker on a daily basis achieving 100% accuracy with periodic references to the Divisional trackers,

Keep a register of all work in progress on part delivered orders and prepaid orders to suppliers ensuring all orders are completed on time,

Arrange for and expedite all transport of goods to end destinations.

Track & record all goods dispatched until they arrive at the final destination within planned time frames,

Zero loss of goods during delivery to required destination,

Solving all purchasing queries raised by suppliers or internal customers within standard time frames and ensuring cordial business relations are maintained,

Do GRN’s in the applicable systems,

Do regular audits of stock level accuracy at warehousing sites.

Ensure that all systems & Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to as per Procurement Division guidelines.

Experience:


Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Procurement and Logistics Procedures and should have a proven track record of implementing strong internal controls.

Qualifications:


The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications: -


Degree or Diploma in Business management; Economics; Purchasing and Supply or any related field.

2 years relevant experience in FMCG sector with exposure to management of profit-centre FMCG operations.
