Title: STEP USER Direct Reports: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKERS (CDWs) Location: HWANGE AREA PROGRAM Purpose of the Position: To perform relevant tasks on Sponsorship Operations Singlestep, Sharefile, Rich Media Transfer and supporting applications to the ADP in establishing, maintaining and facilitating positive transformational relationships between registered children and their sponsors, parents, communities and the Support Offices. Major Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control on Horizon Device Captured Data elements, export from Horizon and import of child data xml files to SingleSTEP through QuickStep Processing.
  • Manual processing of Child monitoring forms in times of Horizon mobile failure within defined partnership standard timelines.
  • Processing of data gaps on monthly GNOD (Global National Office Dashboard) exceptional report and sending appropriate actions and responses before next GNOD reporting period.
  • Processing of all Correspondences (Introductory Letters, Gift Notifications including Kits, Queries letters) and the printing of Sponsor mailing labels through SingleSTEP.
  • Registration of new Children, Reactivation of holds and Deregistration in line with the partnership business processes through SingleSTEP
  • Timely inputting, updating and processing, quality checking of accurate child data in Singlestep ensuring credibility of information in Singlestep, Stepwise and Horizon.
  • Track child wellbeing aspirations, indicators and generate appropriate reports to inform programming, budgeting and management decision making
  • Ensuring efficient and successful Synchronisation of processed outbound and inbound data on child information to the Global Centre Servers and Local ADP singlestep database.
  • Quality control and management of all Sponsorship 2.0 digital communication gadgets and ensuring target deliverables from the field to sponsors and the Support Office are sent through the correct platforms.
  • Monitoring database activities and performance for the purpose of ensuring the security and reliable operation
  • Provide basic IT technical support at program level
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Diploma in IT, Computer Sciences, MIS, Development Studies or any related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an IT or Sponsorship systems environment.
  • Computer competency in MS Office -MSWord, Excel, Access, Lotus notes and Internet
  • Good facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, report-writing skills
  • Ability to speak local languages.
