ZESA Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is a state owned Company whose mandate is the generation, transmission, distribution and retailing of electricity, provision of telecommunication services as well as manufacturing and retailing of electrical related equipment. The Company is inviting suitably qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the above position that has arisen within the Company and based at its Head Office in Harare:

POST A: SOFTWARE ENGINEER

REF: Z/HHR06/05/2021

Reporting to the Chief Systems Analyst, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Develop and maintain system functional specifications
• Develop and maintain technical specifications
• Design and code for SAP modules and functions using ABAP programming language or any other object oriented development tools
• Perform system unit and integration testing
• Provide system implementation and functional support services

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science of Software Engineering
• Membership of a recognized professional body
• SAP certification in Materials Management is a requirement
• SAP certification in Business Workflow, Plant maintenance or any SAP module is an added advantage
• At least 3 years of experience as a SAP Technical Consultant or similar role
