Description :

Key Responsibilities:

 Formulating and Coordinating Human Resources Plan and to govern human

resources practices throughout the project e.g. industrial relations,

communication, recruitment and selection, code e.g. conduct, health and safety

procedures, compensation etc.

 Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics and strategy reports.

 Monitoring and ensuring implementation of human resources policies,

procedures and practises.

 Coordinating and facilitates Human Resources Training and Development

sessions/ activities.

 Developing a corporate training plan that will facilitate systematic management

of the training function.

 Developing programs through which the vision and mission are communicated

and commonly shared.

 Initiating and implementing programs to identify talented staff at entry level that

will be developed into future professionals and managerial talent.

 Monitoring staff performance and carrying out performance appraisals.

 Advising staff on necessary Human Resources Policy changes and reviews,

and maintains an up to date documentation of all Human Resources Policies.

 Provides functional HR expertise to supervisor and other members of staff

within.

 Providing budget estimates covering human resources management, staff

training and development, salaries, welfare, and benefits for the employees.

 Keeping track of the trends in the market and position in the market so that it

attracts and retains high calibre staff to deliver results.

Qualifications and Experience:

 Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or any business- related

qualification and a Master’s Degree.

 IPMZ diploma an added advantage.

 Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedure.

 At least 5 years work experience in HR or any related field.

 Effective HR administration and people management skills.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Highly computer literate with capability in MS Office and related business and

communication tools.

Personal attributes:

 Proven managerial ability with aptitude of effective analysis of the

organisation's working conditions, work hazards and motivation.

 Strong analytical skills and decision-making aptitude

 Business understanding and appreciation of human resources strategies in

support of the business.

 Conceptual thinking.

 Team leadership.
