Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit

and select a suitable candidate for the position of SALES MANAGER.



Main Duties

Achieves growth and hits sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

 Designs and implements a strategic business plan that expands company’s

customer base and ensures it’s strong presence.

 Owns recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales

representatives.

 Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering

with them and understanding their needs.

 Presents sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the

management team.

 Identifies emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new

products and competition status.

 Directs and coordinates all sales activities locally and regionally.

 Prepares sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.

 Tracks and analyzes sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.

 Handles and resolves customer complaints regarding a product or service.

 Sets discount rates and determines price schedules.

 Advises distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures

(SOPs).

 Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing

strategies; analyzing trends and results.

 Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for

regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing

and new products

 Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.


Qualifications& Experience


 A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent.

 A minimum of 3 years’ working experience.

 Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and

effectively at all levels of the organization

 Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

 Strong business sense and industry expertise.

 Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
