Position Description;


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above vacant position of Sales Lead. Paynow is a fast- paced start-up Fintech Digital Payments Solutions company that delivers innovative payment technology solutions adapted and localized for the needs of our clients. The Sales Lead will be responsible for setting up the sales department, generating leads and closing sales in the financial service products that the institution is offering. Because the department is new you must be willing to work in a start-up environment, be willing to grow your own earnings, which will be linked to the success of the department. You must be able to think outside of the box, be willing to grow the department and exhibit the ability to work in a team. The position is exciting and is ideal for individuals who take pride in establishing and setting up structures and departments and who would take pride in being part of the core team that will grow the institution. The candidate will be responsible for selecting a sales team that they will lead. You will need to exhibit strong leadership skills and provide a dedicated drive for sales generation, analysing industry trends to identify ways to improve company products. The candidate will also be involved in ensuring that customers are satisfied with the company products or services purchased, and ensuring that the organization remains viable and profitable in line with Strategic Goals and Objectives. This position will report to the Managing Director.




Responsibilities;


Cultivating solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.

Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and staff members.

Managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports.

Participate in product development, pitch deck development

Pursue the organizational targets by pushing sales targets

Recording sales trends and liaising with management and sales team to develop sales strategies.

Identifying promising prospects for cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.

Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.

Providing overall guidance to newly recruited Sales Representatives.

Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential, and existing customers.

Manage the eternal sales team and all affiliate sales resources

Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.

Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.

Requirements;


Degree in Business Management or Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.

Proven sales management experience.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Effective communication skills.

Exceptional customer service skills
