The Opportunity


HR Services and Talent are working together to transform the way our people join EY globally, supported by the introduction of new processes, technology and roles through the Symphony Talent transformation program. We are in the process of deploying Success Factors and Yello as our Professional and Student/Graduate Recruiting Solutions and will be transitioning to a new operating environment – a fast-paced environment of agile continuous improvement and a focus on new innovative initiatives including digital enablement.


The HR Process team play a key role, leveraging strategic and operational capabilities, enabling data and digital driven designs, to improve the employee experience and global processes and to achieve quality business outcomes. HR Process support the Talent function in this endeavour and this role provides the opportunity to be part of this exciting and transformational journey as part of a high performing and dynamic team.


As the primary interface into Talent Function and the HR Services HR Process Team, the Function Lead will:

establish a strong working relationship with the Talent function and other HRS teams to design and deploy innovative solutions

support continuous improvement initiatives with the function to enhance the experience and achieve intentional business outcomes


Given the nature of this role, we are looking for exceptional candidates with a unique blend of process and functional knowledge/expertise combined with agile thinking. The person will be organized, articulate and a strong team player.


Your Key Responsibilities

SMR (Subject Matter Resource) for Recruitment process design and improvement across strategic, experience and operational requirements.

Use methodologies to facilitate the most efficient approach to resolving design and operational challenges or developing new designs

Monitor design performance in operations for pain points and delivery challenges, work with others to quantify issues, propose changes and actively resolve

Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvements and digital enablement, build the case for change articulating the business and user value or risk mitigation for leadership

Work across key stakeholder and user groups such as the Global Recruitment team, HR Systems and reporting teams, shared services centers and other non Talent groups to ensure the required inputs are understood and incorporated

Understand the business strategies, such as the digital and experience agenda, and ensure the process designs support those business outcomes,

Understand the connections of the process across the organisation and ensure designs reflect this

Ensure designs are compliant with regulators and quality standards, monitor for compliance

Manage and support design change control process and ensuring appropriate stakeholder review and approvals

Manage the maintenance and accessibility of the global process content and documentation

Report to the relevant leaders on status assessments for process activities, including preparation for go live readiness reviews, supporting resolution of issues/risks as required.

Develop HR Process knowledge in others by leading formal and information knowledge sessions, and as a mentor and coach.

Support and lead other process projects/initiatives if time permits.


This role can reside any of the following locations: GDS Locations

The role may require some travel and the need of work flexibly to attend calls and meetings with people across global time zones is essential.


Skills And Attributes For Success


To qualify for the role, you must have:

Operational Recruitment experience, ideally in global or consulting environment

Global mind set, experience working across multiple countries and time zones

Experience in process/service delivery design

Project management skills

Proven problem solving and analytic capability, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership

Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed subject matter

Proficiency with EY standard load set including Microsoft Office suite (, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)

Strong written and verbal communications skills,

Bachelor’s degree or above from a commercial, business or HR related discipline.


Ideally, you’ll also have:

Success Factors or Yello knowledge Experience of transitioning work into a shared service centre
