The school

Colne Valley High School is one of the first purpose built comprehensive schools in England; founded in 1956 and is located in the Colne Valley, an area of outstanding beauty in the east flank of the Pennine Hills in West Yorkshire. Easily accessible from Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and surrounding areas.

In September 2019, Ofsted judged the school to be ‘Good’ in all four categories. This judgement reflects the significant progress and incredible journey by the school since the previous inspection in June 2017.

The role

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work within our busy Admin Services Team here at Colne Valley High School.

The role will primarily involve being the first line of contact for all stakeholders within an extremely busy reception area.

You must be customer service focused, organised, motivated and able to work at pace, whilst also supporting key departments across school. Previous school experience, whilst advantageous, is not necessary.

You will play a valued role in working with our fantastic support staff to further develop and achieve whole-school improvement.
