The Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA), is an investment agency responsible for promoting and facilitation of both local and foreign investment in the country. The promulgation of the ZIDA Act, which repealed the Zimbabwe Investment Authority, the Zimbabwe Special Economic Zones Authority and the Joint Ventures Act, provides a clear, comprehensive and binding legal and regulatory framework for conducting investment activities, by both domestic and foreign investors in the country.

PURPOSE:

Responsible for providing administrative services in an effective and efficient manner. This position reports to the Administrative Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Switchboard management including answering all incoming calls and handling caller inquiries whenever possible
  • Deliver professional client services, handling or referring queries and complaints as appropriate
  • Enforce Covid Screening and Safety Protocols for all employees and visitors
  • Ensure only authorized access to the offices
  • Ensure constant delivery of constant and high quality cleaning services for reception area
  • Observe required agency protocols
  • Keep all sensitive information pertaining to ZIDA confidential
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Administrative Officer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A diploma in Administration/Secretarial studies
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be smart, well-groomed and confident
  • Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage
