Our Client In the Gold Mining Sector Is On The Market For a Quality Assurance Manager to be based in Harare. Applicants Must Hold A degree or diploma in quality management. A Master degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage. Knowledge in quality management environment, health and safety management systems such as ISO 9001, Global G.A.P, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001.
Must have 5 years’ experience in a role that directly involves quality management systems implementation in a mining or manufacturing environment.
Job Summary
a) Develop and implement quality assurance systems across key operational processes (Drill & Blast; Load & Haul; Stockpiles etc).
b) Develop reporting and review systems that monitor on-going performance against desired quality targets.
c) Responsible for investigating and analysing operational processes with a view to eliminating errors, increasing efficiencies, improving productivity, enhancing product quality and identifying and implementing strategic cost reduction initiatives.
d) Work in close liaison with the operational teams to review, refine and document SOPs for all key operational processes across the enterprise.
e) Assist in implementing strategic projects identified as essential in maintaining the company’s competitive advantage.
