Established in 2019, Zimbabwe Education Inclusion Organisation (ZEIO) is a Private Voluntary Organisation registered in terms of the PVO Act chapter 17:05. The Organisation stands guided by the fact that access to education is one pillar in alleviating and restoring hope for the future. ZEIO works intensively for Educational Infrastructure development, Child Development, Women Empowerment, Agriculture, Health, Education, Environment, Sexual Reproductive Health, and WASH among others.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


In accordance with the ZEIO and partners' policy and procedures, the incumbents will be responsible for the following;

*Assume primary responsibility for daily project management, and implementation and ensure compliance with donor agreements and project proposals, particularly expected results, outputs and activities in accordance with work plans, targets and time frames

*Support the collection and analysis of sex and age disaggregated data (quantitative, qualitative and anecdotal) as well as streamlining needs assessment, collection and analysis so that it meets beneficiary needs.

*Take the lead in project planning, development, grant writing & oversee implementation and budget expenditure to ensure effective resources utilisation.

*Build key and strategic alliances with other key actors internally and externally to advocate for addressing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Ensure the participation of different stakeholders including parents, students, community leaders and members.

*Participate in the development and production of communication materials (leaflets, posters, brochures) to raise awareness on education, gender equality, sexual & GBV.

*Conduct training for school counsellors, social workers, community leaders, and community cadres supporting program implementation to build capacity

*Perform such and other duties a may be assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


Strong leadership & interpersonal skills; Demonstrate organisational skills. Demonstrate proficiency in Child programming, Sexual Reproductive Health, GBV programming and gender analysis. Knowledge of communication strategies and techniques. Makes innovative and creative contributions to project design.

 

Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, Education and or any other related fields. At least two years of previous work experience relevant to the function. Excellent presentation skills; Must have own laptop
