Job Advert: Project Officer - Food Security and Livelihoods


Reporting to the District Team Leader the incumbent will be responsible for coordination of functional activities in the Beitbridge or Matobo program operations The Project Officer will be responsible for preparation, coordination and submission of quality and timely reporting.


Location: Beitbridge / Matobo


Contract Duration : 14 Months


Qualifications, Skills and Experience


Essential


University degree level qualification in agriculture/economics/ development studies, and other related fields.

At least 3 years' experience in humanitarian livelihood programmes.

Experience of working with small business development and market based programming.

Experience in delivering training to communities.

Experience of implementing cash based programming.



Tags basic education business development child protection disaster risk disaster risk reduction food security fsl public works

Experience of implementing livelihood projects e.g. public works/ cash for work projects; agricultural support and Disaster Risk Reduction activities.

Experience in working with INGO and partners.

A desire to learn and work in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Knowledge of Zimbabwe hard to reach communities
