Professor/Associate Professor/ Senior Lecturer/Lecturer In Social Work - Women's University in Africa Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions that have arisen at the Women’s University in Africa in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences: PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN SOCIAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Lecturing courses in the Social Work programme and supervising students’ research work; Carrying out research, producing publications and participating in community outreach programs for the Social Work programme and the university at large; Delivering seminars, tutorials, field work and facilitating e-learning; Assisting in the development of curriculum and learning materials for the Social Work programme; Assessing student coursework, setting and marking examinations; Undertaking administrative tasks related to the department, such as student selections for admissions, induction programmes and involvement in Faculty Boards and Committees as may be called upon to. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS An earned PhD from a credible University in Social Work is mandatory or evidence of studying towards one; BSc and MSc in Social Work Professorship or Associate Professorship will be a distinct advantage; At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a tertiary institution;
