As the Operations Manager you will execute the business plan and achieve P&L results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed-upon commitments. You’ll remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business. You will work with the CEO to filter and translate ideas into the functional plans of the business. The Operation Manager will report to the CEO and have responsibility for managing all areas of the business including, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Customer Service.


Your job will include but not limited to strategic analysis, marketing, and sales. You will be involved in everything from the development of products and services, to the creation of marketing strategies, to the generation of sales leads, to negotiating and closing deals.




RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic analysis, marketing, and sales.

Measure KPI‘s and Metrics

Partner with the CEO (Visionary) on short and long-term planning.

Executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.

Together with team members, carry out the vision and mission of the organisation.

Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the network of partnership organisation.

Lead the development and implementation of our strategic plans, with a focus on expanding our impact.

Contribute towards the overall growth and seriously increase the profitability of the Organization.

Assume responsibility for the effective leadership and management of the business - without alienating the existing staff and rapidly assume managerial responsibility and authority in the role

Leads, manages and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.

Integrates all major operating functions of the business. Ensures everyone is rowing together in the same direction. Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.

Resolves issues quickly and effectively - seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.

Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive.

Ensures that everyone is truly following, and adhering too, the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency.

Demonstrates effective project management and continuous improvement skills. Uses both skills to evolve our core processes.

Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.

Effectively collaborates with the CEO (Visionary) to remain aligned at all times. Maintains a high level of mutual respect with the CEO.

Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS


Corporate background in a fast-growing environment.

5+ years of senior leadership experience in a client-driven business, ideally eServices.

Knowledge of Data studio, G-suite or any analytics management platform is an added advantage.

A broad mix of start-up to medium-sized companies is preferred.

Collaborative nature as demonstrated by management experience across multiple departments and disciplines

Highly analytical; able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics.

A “player-coach” who can both manage teams and get into the weeds when necessary.

Be a great team builder, who makes excellent hires and then develops and empowers staff to grow in their expertise and output.

Be agile and highly adaptable in order to operate in an ever-changing environment, with the need to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Have excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and collaboration skills.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:


· Work closely with the CEO to report on the status of cross-departmental projects and assist with administrative tasks related to operations, strategy, and business development.


· Oversee project planning and management, including leading strategic meetings, coordinating staff and internal resources, creating work-back schedules, tracking project statuses, and reporting for departmental leads.


· Ensure there is strong communication and alignment between marketing, product, and coaching teams.


· Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.


· Conduct weekly stand-ups with the team to check-in on project statuses.
