Reporting to the Research, M & E Manager, the MEAL Officer will be required to support active and insightful learning from the District Offices and provide feedback and input towards program development as relevant / required. The MEAL Officer will also be responsible for documentation of the project outputs and outcomes with guidance from the M&E plan at District level. Monitor project interventions and activities to ensure compliance with donor guidelines. He/she will also be required to give input into proposal development processes, capacity building of communities and structures involved in the project MEAL approaches. Requirements Degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, Mathematics, Information systems, Economics, Statistics or related field; Post Graduate qualification in related field will be an added advantage; At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the NGO sector; Exposure to a consortium set-up is an added advantage; Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills; Ability and willingness to drive motorcycles is a must Competencies Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis; Capacity to produce high quality briefs and reports; Self-starter and ability to work with little supervision; Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills to develop effective working relationship quickly with people from different cultural backgrounds; Expertise in core communication disciplines including media relations and multimedia platforms; Able to be decisive and take risks
