The Role
Working within a fully resourced workshop to deliver sessions with a 'hands on' approach to learning to help students gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area. The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and may contribute to preparing them for working life beyond education.
Requirements
To be considered for the Mechanics Tutor position, you will:
- Have a mechanics background.
- Experience tutoring in Secondary or FE
- Have experience of working with and educating young people who can present with challenging behaviour.
- Be passionate about contributing to the life outcomes of the students.
- To deliver NCFE level 1 Occupational studies for the workplace and City and Guilds level 1 motor vehicle.
