Description :
Lead the development and documentation of workshop SOPs
Perform preventive maintenance work on vehicles including servicing and brake overhaul
Accurate and timeous completion of job cards
Understands Pneumatics and hydraulics
Ability to perform overhaul and general maintenance on a complete rig i.e horse and trailer unit
Perform root cause and failure analysis on breakdowns and scrap
Develop and enforce safety standard through risk based approach to processes
Keep track and reduce the impact of repeat jobs, reworks and inefficient workmanship
Achieve a high standard of vehicle availability to support business processes and customer service
Qualifications and Requirements
Class 1 Mechanic
Possession of a clean class 2 drivers licence
Minimum 3 years experience
Performance Driven
Computer literate
