following JUNIOR LECTURER/LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE
PROFESSOR/PROFESSOR positions that have arisen in the following Faculties within
the University of Zimbabwe:
a) Agriculture, Environment and Food Systems
b) Law
c) Science
d) Social and Behavioural Sciences
e) Veterinary Science
f) Business Management Sciences and Economics
g) Arts and Humanities
1.0 FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, ENVIRONMENT AND FOOD SYSTEMS
1.1 Department of Soil Science and Environment
1.1.1 Applied Climate Science
Responsibilities
To teach the following Modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate
levels: Climate Change Mitigation, Finance and Negotiations, and Climate
Change Governance.
To conduct research that produce goods and services as well as to provide
research leadership and mentoring of undergraduate and postgraduate
students.
To contribute to Community Outreach, Innovation and Industrialisation in line
with Education 5.0 and the University of Zimbabwe Strategic Plan.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants should have Undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Applied
Climate Science, Social Science, Policy Administration, Public Administration,
Climate Governance or related field. An earned PhD degree in the same specialisation is an added advantage.
University teaching experience, traceable record of research expertise and
industrial experience in the field of Climate Change.
Candidates should be results driven with good problem solving and critical
thinking skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve desired
outcomes. vernance or related field.
