Information, Communication, and Technology Graduate Intern: Zimbabwe Women’s Resource Centre and Network Deadline: 31 January 2020 Develop monthly work plans; Compile, record, and file field level data from monitoring tools and accountability systems using relevant and appropriate computer packages and information management systems; Data collection, capturing, Cleaning and analysis; Bring communication and technological innovation into ZWRCN’s programmes; Working with social media and other multimedia communications to supplement news stories; Rapporteuring (minute- taking) and production of event reports; Proof reading and editing of ZWRCN documents – reports; Participating in programme implementation and reporting activities in respect to the programme; Photo taking during events; Supporting programs focused research on topical gender and development issues through collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information and other documentation from relevant agencies and organizations; Collection of any gender and gender budgeting related material on behalf of the department; Monitoring the freedom phone; Development of SMS blasting content and SMS blasting; Assisting with website content uploads
Qualifications Studying towards bachelor’s degree in Media and Society studies or Communications, Development Studies degree and any other related and relevant Programme; Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills; Attention to detail; Self-starter who can take direction and contribute ideas; Community development knowledge/experience a plus; Knowledge of standard workplace technology.
