MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic HR business partnering to Senior Leadership in the Company.
2. Provide human resources leadership, direction and expertise and play an active management role with the management teams and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as relevant Zimbabwe legislation.
3. To shape the people agenda in respect of our engagement and enablement plans across the Company.
4. Provide support with relevant Employee Relationsprocesses as necessary, as well as implementing strategies to maintain a sound Industrial Relationsclimate.
5. Ensure HR staff addresses employees' requests and grievances in a timely manner.
6. Play an active role in the recruitment and selection processes ensuring in line with the Company HR targets.
7. Conduct payroll processing and payments for all employees.
8. Manage the Talent and Leadership Development agenda.
9. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of our people.
10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
11. Review and management of HR budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in the social sciences.
An Institute for People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) Diploma is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Belina payroll or related payroll software is an added advantage.
Able to work under pressure.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer literate especially with Microsoft Office applications, proficient in Excel.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR function, of which at least 1 year should be at a management level in a medium sized unionized environment within manufacturing.
Proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role.
Experience with payroll administration and statutory payments in Zimbabwe.
25 years and above.
