Please note that the duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor and Professor are grouped into 5 main categories which are:
(a) Teaching – the incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
(b) University Service and Community engagement – the incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences and seminars, among others.
(c) Research – the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
(d) Innovations – leading to tangible products and services
(e) Industrialisation –through commercialisation of products

DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Gweru Full Time Lecturer (3 Posts)
Qualifications
First Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with at least 2.1 pass.
Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ Organizational Development/ Industrial Psychology/ Industrial Sociology or equivalent.
PhD in Human Resources Management/ Organizational Development/ Industrial Psychology/ Industrial Sociology or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Candidate must be capable of teaching and supervising undergraduate and post-graduate students’ research work, and should be able to teach 3 modules in any of the following three major areas;
Employment Relations:
Workplace Industrial relations
Comparative Industrial Relations
Industrial/ Employment Relations
International Human Resource Management
Employee Development and auditing:
Training and development
Strategic Human Resource Management
HR metrics and accounting
Productivity
Managerial Economics
Employee resourcing:
Human Resource Policy and Practice
Management and labour
Payroll and Benefits
Occupational health and safety
