Group IT Infrastructure Manager

Our client in the agricultural sector, is looking for an honest, trustworthy, respectful, and accountable candidate to join their team. The ideal candidate must be a team player. He/she would be responsible for the development and maintenance of the IT System, process and Infrastructure of the Group.

Responsibilities:

Continued development, documentation and communication of the existing IT infrastructure strategy.

Continued implementation of integrated and standardised Group IT Infrastructure.

Deliver strategic subcontractor management

Responsible for IT Security, administration and Access for cloud and on-site IT networks

Budgetary formulation, analysis and maintenance.

Ensure “uptime” and availability of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, etc. at all time

Vendor performance analysis and re-negotiation and/or review on an annual basis.

Network Infrastructure implementation

Server infrastructure implementation

IT Service Desk management

IT Services and Vendor Contract Negotiation

Management of IT Department Budgets

Requirements:

Relevant IT Qualification

CISCO certified

Minimum of 20 years’ cumulative experience in IT

Minimum of 5 years’ experience at an IT managerial role

Corporate experience would be an advantage.

Possession of the following technical qualifications and/or certifications would be a significant advantage:

o Microsoft Azure Architect

o PRTG Network Solution (advanced)

o Microsoft 365

o SOPHOS Engineer

o Productivity Suite

o SharePoint Portal
