As a Development Adjuster, you will be expected to learn the skills of a Commercial Property Loss Adjuster, sit any relevant exams and start to handle commercial insurance claims, building on your graduate experience and the complexity of claims that you handle over time.


This is the first step to a long-term career where you’ll use your skills and knowledge to identify creative solutions in often challenging situations. Our colleagues support customers in various circumstances whose priorities differ widely, so you need to be able to adapt and interact at every level. Many in this role have the opportunity to support colleagues during peak times, not just elsewhere in the UK but occasionally overseas.


You may already have experience of property claims handling but it`s not essential. We`re keen to hear from you if you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, or are a graduate looking for a career with the ongoing growth and development opportunities you`d expect from a global organisation.


Whatever your experience or background, successful candidates will immediately participate in our Accelerate programme. The course is designed to get you up to speed on our systems, services and technical requirements, so you can start delivering the exceptional service our clients and customers expect.


You’ll also benefit from access to a variety of technologies to support you and enhance the customer journey. We are an industry leader in innovative digital solutions.


As you progress, you’ll support your team assisting with new claims and taking on administrative & claims related support responsibility. Shadowing experienced adjuster colleagues, including going out on site visits, will build your technical & practical skills and knowledge. You’ll also have the opportunity to evidence your superb service delivery in your professional and empathetic communication with clients and customers.


You Will Have/will Be

  • Educated to degree level
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with people at all levels and a strong track record evidencing solid customer focus and service
  • Experience of dealing with property claims would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Excellent communicator – our brand relies on your ability so professionalism at all times is essential
  • Proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level
  • Analytical with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • A full UK driving licence

The programme which will begin in early September will involve in person training, accompanied site visits with our network of colleagues and office-based support.
