Unki Mines (Private) Limited, has an exciting position for a Environmental Assistant where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the on-mine and process environmental management system, environmental incident identification and investigation.

Job Description


In this dynamic role, some of your responsibilities will include:


Effective monitoring of the environmental impact of the operation.

Data interpretation to identify trends and issues and Impact assessments reporting

Incident identification, routine inspections, audits, reporting, investigation and follow-up

Follow-up on environmental actions through Enablon

Environmental awareness training


Qualifications


5 'O Levels including Science, English and Mathematics

BSc Environmental Sciences/Technology/Health or Safety related qualification


Experience:


2 years industrial experience in Mining or heavy industry

Environmental, Safety and Health Management Systems (ISO 14001 and 45001) implementation and auditing qualification will be an added advantage
