Job summary

• The incumbent will be responsible for data collection, surveys using electronic gadgets in selected wards.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Coordinates with market committees, community leaders and appraises community members on the data collection process for social mapping;
• Takes part in key informant interviews and focus group discussions as assigned by the Supervisor;
• Facilitates community level social mapping and collects required household data;
• Enters required household data using electronic devices and checks for errors, consistency and validity; Explains project objectives and the data collection process to community members;
• Ensures that IASC core principles and safeguarding standards are met and maintained accordingly;
• Reports cases of suspected Sexual Harassment Exploitation and Abuse to the relevant stakeholders; Ensures that Safeguarding information is disseminated to the relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications, skills and experience

• 3 A level passes;
• Ability to communicate in local vernacular languages;
• Applicants must be residents in the respective duty station and proof of residence will be required;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
