Plan International Zimbabwe intends to carry out an End of Project Evaluation for the “Promoting Access to Inclusive SRHR and SGBV Information and Services in Zimbabwe project” (SRHR and SGBV Project) implemented in Bulawayo, Kwekwe, Chiredzi, Mutare and Harare peri-urban (Epworth). The project was implemented with support from Plan International Sweden and funding from SIDA. The project aimed at improving well-being and sexual and reproductive health and rights of all adolescents, including adolescents at high-risk of sexual and gender-based violence, including adolescents with disabilities in Zimbabwe.


Plan International Zimbabwe invites bids for the services of a consulting firm or individual consultant to conduct an End of Project Evaluation for the SRHR and SGBV Project:


Specifically, the objectives for the consultant are to:

Carry out a systematic and objective assessment of the project design, implementation and results; Carry out the implementation of the End of Project Evaluation as per the agreed schedule; Ensure high quality data collection and ensure ethical considerations are observed during data collection; Submit raw and cleaned data to Plan International Zimbabwe and take corrective actions, where advised to do so; Submit a detailed report and an abridged version of the report highlighting key issues from the report.


The consultant or the consulting firm must have a varied mix of skills and competences and they must have undertaken similar works in Zimbabwe (on SRHR and SGBV) in the last four years. The Consultant should have an advanced degree in Social Sciences or related field (Masters desirable) with at least 5 years of verifiable experience in coordinating and administering evaluations, including data collection and entry, data management and storage, report writing and presentation preferably for international non-governmental organisations. The consultant should also have knowledge and experience with children’s rights, young women and youth issues, legislative and policy landscape and services systems in Zimbabwe.
