Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below positions that have arisen in the Maintenance department. The positions are in the Harare division.

ELECTRICIAN – Responsible for installing, maintaining & repairing electrical equipment & fittings within the division.

1. Installation and commissioning of equipment

2. Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment throughout the various operations of the company.

3. Attending to breakdowns during and, at times, after hours and ensuring minimum downtime.

4. Ordering spares and other requirements in the repair and maintenance of Electrical and electronic equipment.

5. Carry out scheduled maintenance on machinery, equipment & fittings.

6. Any other duties as delegated from time to time.

GENERATOR TECHNICIAN - Responsible for installing & repairing power generating units within the division.

1. Installation & commissioning of generator units.

2. Conduct breakdown repairs on generators and ensure minimum downtime

3. Troubleshoots and conducts repairs on diesel stand-by and transfer switches.

4. Scheduling & carrying out periodical preventative maintenance.

5. Maintains correct records of repairs done, spares used and job cards.

6. Any other duties as delegated from time to time.

PLUMBER – Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing pipes & fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution and sanitation in structures within the division.

1. Responds quickly to breakdown call outs & conducts effective repairs at first visit.

2. Interprets blueprints to establish layout of pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing fittings.

3. Detects needed repairs & upgrades through a well-articulated preventative maintenance programme.

4. Sourcing and procurement of spares & equipment following the organizations purchasing procedures.

5. Maintaining accurate and updated records on all jobs done and spares procured & used.

6. Any other duties as delegated from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Must have served a minimum of four years Apprenticeship or,

2. Must have gone through a successful Trade Testing process

3. National Certificate /Diploma in the relevant field

4. Must have at least five years post- apprenticeship/trade testing experience.
