Are you a born leader of all things film, video, motion?

I am looking for a creative, an ideas generator, that has a passion for applying concepts to moving image, that is accustomed to owning the video offering of a business and that is fully versed in managing and growing a team.

You will be joining a highly reputable, East Midlands creative agency with international connections, a vast portfolio of industry leading brands under their belt and a strong team of talent, that is only looking to grow along with the climate. You will need natural collaboration skills and love nothing more than a busy, fast paced studio, and be comfortable being thrown into a TV ad brainstorming session or an ideas generation meeting!

The Role

Working at a high level as Design Director for the motion and film function of the agency

Day to day leading motion projects from initial concept, to storyboard, to shoot, to animation and then to output

Dealing with client budgets from £10K-£100K for motion and film projects

Be able to work on-site a minimum of three days a week, to be as impactful as possible upon the team and have strong input when growing the team (the best creativity happens in the studio!)

Daily coaching, developing, and motivating all design team members

Shoot planning, work planning and then feeding into wider studio planning

Constantly pushing the boundaries creatively!

Running presentation meetings with clients, challenging briefs, and managing relationships

The Person

Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite After Effects, Premier Pro, Final Cut & grading experience (davinci)

The team is heavily skilled in Cinema4D, so if you have skills in this, great! But the team are keen for someone with strong film experience (cameras, audio recording, filming, shoot orchestrating) so all areas are covered with extensive experience

You will need to be a natural motivator!
