Introduction

Green Governance Zimbabwe Trust is an organization whose mandate is to promote transparency and accountability in the management of the environment and in natural resource governance. Our broader vision is to achieve a society anchored on sustainable natural resource management, whose benefits are equitably and transparently utilised to promote socio-economic development. The organization is a recipient of the HiiL Justice Innovation Challenge 2020 and intends to digitize its legal services to be able to remotely provide access to legal services to small-scale and artisanal miners.

Tasks under this consultancy

The consultant will be expected to advise Green Governance Zimbabwe Trust on the type and usability of the mobile app needed to offer legal service to ASMers, remotely. Sh/e will optimize all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and app management.

Deliverables

To develop, pilot and launch the App. Train the GGZT team to use the application and provide evaluation over its usability.

Duration – The detailed assignment timelines will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skill of developing successful user-friendly Mobile Applications for marginalized communities

Bid format

Technical and Financial proposals not exceeding 3 pages should be submitted to GGZT including a resume of not more than 3 pages. A sample of similar work done previously should be submitted.
