Background to the Consultancy

Emthonjeni Women’s’ Forum is conducting a sexual harassment advocacy intervention titled Speak Out/Khuluma. End Sexual Harassment Now! which is being implemented in Bulawayo Province in two institutions of learning and 2 workplaces. The thrust of the action is to eliminate violence against women and girls as well as to sustain respect for women’s bodily integrity and autonomy through addressing sexual harassment concerns implemented the 4 institutions. The consultancy seeks to evaluate the process undertaken towards the implementation of the project as well as evaluation of the impact of the project.

Tasks under this consultancy

The consultancy will be expected to assess the implementation process of the project against the set outcomes and ascertain whether the implementation process is as outlined in the results framework.

Deliverables

The Consultancy will be responsible for the following deliverables:

• Carry out process evaluation of the intervention;
• Submission of the draft evaluation report to EWF;
• A detailed process evaluation report.

Duration

• The detailed assignment timelines will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.

Qualifications, Experience

• Advanced degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or related field with experience in development work.
• A qualification and appreciation in women’s rights and gender studies will be an added advantage.
• More than 5 Years’ experience in related work.

Bid Format

• Technical and Financial proposals not exceeding 3 pages should be submitted to EWF including a resume of not more than 3 pages .
• A sample of similar work done previously should be submitted.
