The successful candidate must possess outstanding competencies, proven The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications track record & skills In the following areas: and experience: • Organisational strategy formulation and implementation. • Develops and drives the implementation of the structure, policies & systems. • Formulates investment policy and strategies for adoption by the Board of Trustees. • Fund Administration • Management of the investment portfolios. • Oversees Member Services by developing and implementing a clear member engagement strategy. • Offer Trustee Services by facilitating appointment and training Trustees. • Manage and foster stakeholder relations. • Promote governance and formulate and implement sound risk management systems. • Builds, maintains and motivates an effective team capable of delivering the Funds' strategic objectives. REMUNERATION • The company offers an attractive package commensurate with this senior position. Package on offer will be disclosed to short-listed candidates. A relevant Business Degree(Economics; Finance; Business Management, Actuarial Science )or equivalent Relevant Master's Degree(MBA/MBL) Professional Qualifications in Pensions or Insurance an added advantage • At least 10 years' experience at Senior Executive Management Level in the Pensions or Insurance Industry. JOB RELATED ATTRIBUTES The person suitable for this job must demonstrate the following minimum job related attributes: Thorough knowledge of the pension industry Detailed understanding and knowledge of key laws, rules and regulations guiding the pensions industry. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiating, communication and good organisational skills Commitment to continuous improvement and customer focused quality service delivery. Must be business minded, strategic thinker with impeccable integrity and good motivational and leadership skills
