Section Head: Quality of Work Life (Brigadier) 

Appointment Requirements: Applicants:

 Must have at least a three (3) year Degree / Diploma (accredited by SAQA on NQF level 6 or higher) in Occupational Health Management, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification relevant to the core functions to the post. An applicable post graduate qualification relevant to the core functions of the post, relevant training and development in a Middle Management Learning Programme, Leadership and Management Training Programme, and / or Programme and Project Management may be an advantage;

 Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Occupational Therapist or the South African Council for Social Service Professions as a social worker, or as an Occupational Health Nurse with the Nursing Council of SA – proof of registration for the 2022 / 2023 financial year must be attached to application;

 Must have a minimum period of three years’ appropriate managerial experience in the field of the post;

 Must be fluent in at least two of the official languages, of which one must be English;

 Must have a valid motor vehicle drivers’ licence; and

 Will be required to undergo a security vetting process to the level of Top Secret and obtain a security clearance of Top Secret within six months after appointment (if not already in possession of such a valid security clearance).

Section Head: Legal Support: Operations and Protection and Security Services (Brigadier) 

Appointment Requirements: Applicants:

 Must have an LLB (accredited by SAQA on NQF level 8).

An applicable post-graduate qualification in Law and/or relevant training and development in a Middle Management Learning Programme, Leadership and Management training Programme and/or Project Management and/or admission as an Attorney or Advocate with successful bar examination/pupillage examination may be an added advantage;

 Must have a minimum period of three years’ appropriate managerial experience in the field of the post;

 Must be fluent in at least two of the official languages, of which one must be English;

 Must have a valid motor vehicle driver's licence; and

 Will be required to undergo a security vetting process to the level of Top Secret and obtain a security clearance of Top Secret within six months after appointment (if not already in possession of such a valid security clearance)
