Zim-TTECH is seeking highly qualified and experienced applicants to fill the position of Facility Monitoring & Evaluation Assistants x49. The opportunities have arisen in all of Zim-TTECH’s five supported provinces distributed as follows: Matabeleland North x5 (Bubi x1, Lupane x1, Nkayi x1, Tsholotsho x1, Umguza x1), Mashonaland West x11(Chegutu x2, Hurungwe x2, Makonde x2, Mhondoro-Ngezi x1, Kadoma-Sanyati x2, Zvimba x2), Mashonaland East x7 (Goromonzi x2, Marondera x1, Murewa x1, Seke x3), Mashonaland Central x7 (Guruve x2, Mazowe x2, Mbire x1, Mt. Darwin x2) and Harare x19. Zim-TTECH’s activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening; epidemiology and strategic information strengthening, health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care, and treatment of infectious diseases. Zim-TTECH is funded by PEPFAR through the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Strengthening Epidemiology and Strategic Information in 44 districts in Zimbabwe. Zim-TTECH also implements HIV & TB treatment and care services in support of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) under the Zim-PAAC (Zimbabwe Partnership to Accelerate AIDS Control) program. Additionally, the ZimPAAC DREAMS consortium comprising of three local partners implements DREAMS activities in four districts in Matabeleland North Province (Bubi, Nkayi, Tsholotsho and Lupane). The employment contract is for nine (9) months from 3 January 2023 to the 29th of September 2023.  


Position Summary:  

The main objective of the Facility Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant is to provide site-level strategic information and evaluation support to facility cadres, ensuring timely and effective data collection, cleaning, analysis, use and reporting on program performance. Successful candidates will conduct weekly and monthly review of data, discuss program performance and take corrective measures, implement improvement ideas and strengthen identified best practices at facility level. The position reports to the District Strategic Information Mentor.

Zim-TTECH’s activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening; epidemiology and strategic information strengthening, health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care, and treatment of infectious diseases. Zim-TTECH is funded by PEPFAR through the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to implement Strengthening Epidemiology and Strategic Information in the 44 districts of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Zim-TTECH also implements HIV & TB treatment and care services in five Zimbabwean provinces in support of the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) under the ZimPAAC (Zimbabwe Partnership to Accelerate AIDS Control) Program. Job Summary
