 Carrying out any other duties as delegated by the Dean of Students. ADMINISTRATOR: (CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND ADVISORY SERVICES)

Desired Qualifications and Attributes

 A Master’s degree in Psychology and must be a registered Psychologist with a current

practice certificate with the Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe.

 Relevant experience in working with young adults in a university environment. Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Officer, Career Development and Advisory Services, the incumbent shall be

responsible for:

 Assisting the head of Unit in organising campus-wide counselling and advisory services

to students and staff;

 Assisting in the implementation of effective student psycho-support intervention

programmes for students;

 Administering psychological tests, compiles psychosocial tests reports;

 Maintaining accurate records of students receiving psychological services in the

Department;

 Organising training of Peer and Faculty Counsellors;

 Organising career fairs and expos on and off-campus;

 Maintains data base of local and international stakeholders;

 Conducts research and opinion surveys of psychosocial issues affecting students;

 Create synergies with the corporate sector and maintain a database of all student

development and support stakeholders;

 Carries out any other duties as delegated by the Officer Career Development and

Advisory Services.
