Wanted is an Administrative Clerk for a fast-paced male environment. The candidate has to have impeccable references and must be able to work under serious pressure. Administrative Clerk duties and responsibilities • providing information administration, • Answering phone calls and calling customers and suppliers to follow up on appointments and deliveries • Compiling, maintaining and updating company records • Managing inventory and working with suppliers to ensure the regular supply of products and service. • Setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, distributing reports and managing the correspondence between the office and external bodies • Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions • Training, onboarding and junior clerks • Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments Administrative Clerk skills and qualifications A successful Administrative Clerk in addition to the following skills must be loyal, honest, dedicated as well as have various prerequisite skills/qualifications needed for duties: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Drivers licence • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills • Ability to use word processing applications • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability • Ability to prepare a stock inventory and process office bills The ideal candidate should be able to command authority and represent the company as and when required, be willing to work long hours.
