Administration Officer

Duties and responsibilities

  • To prepare for all internal or external meetings and events within stipulated times;
  • To manage the following administration activities of the association and any projects that may be undertaken by the association as, typing, electronic and physical filing of documents / information as member databases, communication management of emails, organizational visibility, stakeholder communications, facilitating the ZADF calendar events;
  • To assist in arrangements of travel logistics for executive and staff, seminars, workshops and field days;
  • To coordinate various committee meetings of the Executive Board;
  • To manage project implementation administrative activities;
  • Assist in training and awareness initiatives;
  • Coordinate Minute taking at Executive and Management meetings and others when required ensuring all minutes are circulated within stipulated times;
  • Maintain effective communication with the members;
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications and attributes

  • Degree in Business Studies or an equivalent;
  • Masters in Development studies/qualification an advantage;
  • Have at least 3-5 years experience in the Agricultural Sector;
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Excellent reporting skills to both internal and external teams;
  • Computer skills with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email and PowerPoint);
  • A clean Class 4 driver’s license is mandatory.
