Accounts Clerk - Expenditure
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the post of ACCOUNTS CLERK EXPENDITURE (1 Post) that has arisen at Masvingo City.
DEPARTMENT: Finance
SALARY GRADE: 11
REPORTS TO: Assistant Accountant Expenditure
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 O’levels including English and Mathematics
- A Degree in Accountancy
- At least two years relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and also as a team member
Duties and Responsibilities
- Capturing payment vouchers in the Promun system
- Preparation of creditors reconciliations and maintenance of creditors aged analysis
- Preparation of bank reconciliations by the 5th of the following month
- Cashbook maintenance
- Preparation of projects accounts
- Checking creditors payment vouchers from Stores for mathematics accuracy and completeness
- Any other duties as delegated by the Accounting Assistant Revenue/Expenditure.
