A company in agricultural and construction equipment supply dealership based in Harare is inviting suitably qualified
candidates to fill in the position of Parts Sales Representative. This position will be permanently based in Harare and
report to the Parts Sales Manager.
Performs a variety of customer service, field marketing, promotion, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale,
and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealershipâs
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
â¢ Handling customer complaints and concerns and making sure the problem is corrected to the customer and
â¢ When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, and credit processing procedures of the company.
â¢ Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
â¢ Receiving and receipting payments made for cash parts purchases.
â¢ Reconciling daily sales figures and following up on credit customers.
â¢ Generating workshop job and parts quotations
â¢ Monitoring Parts Sales debtors listing.
â¢ Maintaining a record of key customer purchases for sales forecasting to enhance pro-activeness in customer
â¢ Monitoring competitor activities and competitor pricing for similar equipment and generating
â¢ Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she encounters.
â¢ Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
â¢ Provide service technicians with parts as required.
â¢ Assist the Parts Manager with merchandising displays.
â¢ Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
â¢ Performs other tasks as required by Parts Manager.
â¢ Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
â¢ Should be knowledgeable in company merchandising.
â¢ Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and
ethical business practices
â¢ Demonstrate an interest in growing the parts business.
â¢ Maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees, and owners.
â¢ Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.

â¢ Ability to speak effectively one on one.
â¢ Ability to effectively listen.
â¢ Ability to interpret customer needs.
EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
â¢ A degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
â¢ 2+ yearsâ experience in a similar environment occupying a similar role.
â¢ Efficient computer skills, including proficiency in excel and word.
â¢ Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
