Duration: 6 months

Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest German non-governmental organisations in development co- operation and emergency relief. Primarily in co-operation with local partner organisations, our task is to contribute to the improvement in nutritional and income base for the low-income populations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Welthungerhilfe has been implementing projects in Zimbabwe since 1980. Sector focus is on WASH, Food and Nutrition Security, Livelihoods and when necessary, Emergency response. Welthungerhilfe is urgently recruiting for suitably qualified candidates to fill the above vacancy.

Key Responsibilities
Support the coordination of field related activities of the project; Support the contribution of project activities to strategic development; Cooperate with relevant stakeholders; Support the planning of field related programmes and activities and ensure knowledge transfer.

Qualifications and Skills required
Recent undergraduate degree program in Environmental Health, Public Health or related field; Preferably someone who has an appreciation of Ministry of Health structures especially at community, district and provincial level; Willingness to work with communities at grassroots level; Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment; Good teamwork and interpersonal skills; Knowledge in monitoring and evaluation system design and approaches; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
