National Handling Services invites suitably qualified persons to apply for the following position:
MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES
– Develops human resources policies, processes and procedures for the organization, Ensure selection and recruitment of qualified and competent personnel in line with the HR policy. Allocates facilities, equipment and infrastructure to ensure organizational operations and its associated support structures achieve safety, security and quality objectives as per the organization’s strategic plans,
Develop and implement operational safety and security policies in accordance with applicable regulation; customer airline requirements and standards
Develops the financial budgets for Human Resources Department and provides the required control, monitoring and evaluation to establish the necessary adjustments,
Provides necessary corrective action emanating from findings and observations established during audits by the authorities, internal audits and customer audits
Carries out training needs analysis to develop and maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training for organizational personnel
Represents the organization at all labour forums such as Arbitration and Labour court
– Ensures labour and industrial relations issues are handled in accordance with the law
Authorizes all payrolls for payments and ensures timely payment of salaries.
Reviews and authorizes annual and periodic training programs including employee skills
Handles all administrative functions of the organization.
Minimum Hiring Standards
A relevant degree in Human Resource; Social Sciences or equivalent
A Master degree or post graduate qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration or related Studies will be an added advantage.
Must be a result — focused person of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality with excellent interpersonal skills.
At least five (4) years of professional experience in Human Resources at managerial level
A thorough knowledge of Labour Act and its Subsidiary Legislation and general knowledge of labour issues in Zimbabwe.
Must be conversant with CAAZ, NSSA, Safety Standards board, Labour laws, IOSA and ISAGO standards.
Knowledge of ground handling/ aviation management is an added advantage.
