Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission is a Constitutional body whose mandate is to promote, protect and enforce human rights in Zimbabwe.

To make strategic decisions on issues regarding the running of the Finance Department in line with generally accepted Accounting principles and the applicable legislation.

Key Result Areas
Provide financial input to the strategic planning process; Maintain effective internal control systems that foster financial stewardship; Craft budgets that are aligned to strategic objectives; Manage cash flows to address the financial needs of the Commission; Generate financial reports and management accounts in compliance with Financial Regulations and Policies.

Must be a holder of a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Studies Management; Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; Chartered membership to an Accounting Professional Organization such as ACCA, CPA, CA; Eight (8) years relevant experience in an Accounting or Finance environment with at least five (5) years managerial exposure at a senior management level; Conversant with Computerised Accounting Systems; Good appreciation of IFRS, IPSAS, PFMS, GAAP; Strategic and creative thinking; Good communication and networking skills; Analytical and problem solving skills; Negotiation skills
