As an ICT Information and Data Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the ICT control environment, ensuring governance, and implementing robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass planning, designing, building, and integrating tools and systems dedicated to protecting electronic information and devices.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Address compliance requirements, including privacy and security, to ensure adherence to related standards. -Implement effective risk mitigation and control processes for security incidents as needed. -Document and disseminate information security policies, procedures, and guidelines. -Coordinate responses to actual or suspected breaches in the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information assets. -Ensure compliance with ICT and Group policies, as well as all regulatory requirements. -Understand and report on security risks, emphasizing their impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. -Implement and maintain network, firewall, and systems security changes. -Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches. -Research and propose IT security solutions to enhance our overall security posture. -Maintain relevant documentation, including configurations, within your area of responsibility. -Ensure alignment with policies and standards to uphold a secure IT environment. -Implement vulnerability management solutions to enhance system security. -Respond to and manage security-related events and alerts. -Manage and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and processes. -Oversee the ICT control environment, including tracking ICT Risk and Audit issues.
Qualifications and Experience
