Description :

●Financial Reporting – preparing consolidated annual report for the Group of Companies, and related press publications of financial results, including half-year reporting.
●Management Accounting – preparing monthly management accounts for the head office function, and monthly consolidated management accounts for the group of companies.
●Auditing – ensure that internal check and control procedures are in place to the satisfaction of both internal and external Auditors. Ensuring that all relevant supporting schedules and documentation are readily available prior to the arrival of the Auditors.
●Budget Management and Control – Coordinating and formulating budgets for the head office function and tracking implementation. Report on and explain any variations from the budget. Preparing consolidated budget for the group of companies.
●Head Office Cost Recovery Management – tracking and managing head office costs and ensuring recovery of such costs through direct recharges or management fees as applicable, and in-line with transfer pricing requirements
●Cash and Ledger Management – handling the day to day transactions of the head-office function, ensuring that all receipts are accounted for, that cash received is banked and that payments are timeously processed and dispatched. Ensuring that the bank reconciliation statements are done monthly and accurately for all head office bank accounts.
●Investments Management – monitoring the head office function’s investments by evaluating the investment portfolio and investment performance. Maintain accurate investments records. Producing investment reports quarterly for the board.
●Asset Register Maintenance – ensuring all assets are properly accounted for and that correct depreciation rates are applied to all assets.
●Statutory Obligations – preparing statutory returns as applicable
​●Higher National Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from a
recognised Institution, or Professional qualification such as CIS, ACCA,
CIMA or equivalent
●At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
