Vele Manenje Joins The Cast Of Skeem Saam As A Former Schoolteacher
Skeem Saam is about to have a new cast member in April!
Award winning actress, Vele Manenje is set to join the cast of Skeem Saam as Evelyn.
She will be playing the role of an intelligent former school teacher, who makes a sudden delivery at Charles shop.
The casting news was announced by esteemed entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela who said Vele will debut on the soapie on the 27th of April.

SAFTA award winner Manenje will be introduced to the show as ‘Evelyn’, a former schoolteacher, who seems strange at first and makes a sudden delivery at Charles’ shop.
She will make her debut on April 27th

Vele Manenje is quite an esteemed actress, having won a SAFTA award for Best Supporting Actress-Telenovela award, for her role in Ring Of Lies season 2.
Not only is she an outstanding actress, she is also a good TV host. She has hosted shows like Rivoningo and Siyakholwa.
In 2018 and 2019 she was announced as the new host of Seasons 8 and 9 of Mzansi Magic’s reality show, Our Perfect Wedding.
At the time, the multilingual Vele Manenje described herself as a people person, saying

She has also acted on eKasi: Our Stories, Silent Witness, A Place Called Home and Single Guys
