Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience of 7 years;

Finance and Operations Manager – Zimbabwe, Harare, Zimbabwe

 

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree;

    •  Minimum seven years of work experience in monitoring and evaluating complex, large, multi-year, international DRG sector development programs such as good governance, citizen engagement and civil society programming;
    •  Strong demonstrated skills in planning, MEL and programming adaptation, inclusion, and budgeting;
    •  Demonstrated expertise in youth engagement, anti-corruption, and improving local governance;
    •  Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, operations research, governance management information systems, reporting, data quality assessments, data analysis and presentation and setting up and managing MEL systems that track performance as per the objectives set forth;
    •  In-depth familiarity with, understanding of, and ability to successfully navigate within the Zimbabwean context preferred;
    •  Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders, and team members;

Qualifications:

  •  A Master’s degree (or higher) and 5 years’ relevant work experience, or relevant work experience of 7 years in lieu of an advanced degree;
  •  Deep understanding of the best practices, approaches, and methodology in programming related to civic engagement, service learning, and/or youth engagement;
  •  Experience working in institutions with a focus on serving the needs of youth, particularly workforce-aged youth;
  •  Technical knowledge and experience in youth development, training, group facilitation, and related support services for youth from varying backgrounds, as well as proactive engagement with youth networks and organizations in the planning and implementation of project activities;
