The South African Reserve Bank is offering a Full Art Scholarship to a qualifying fine arts student for the 2023 academic year. Fully funded scholarships will be given to Fine arts students if they are studying towards the following qualifications:
- An advanced diploma in Fine arts (after completing a 3-year diploma in Fine arts)
- Undergraduate Degree in Fine Arts (4 years)
- Honours Degree in Fine Arts (final year)
- Master’s Degree in Fine arts
Requirements to qualify for the South African Reserve Bank Fine Arts Scholarship;
- You have to be a South African citizen.
- Registered to study towards the qualifications listed above in 2023
- Studying at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa

Submit the filled-out application form with the following documents:
- ID card (certified copy)
- 2022 academic transcript on the institution’s letterhead
- Pictures of 6 to 8 pieces of your artwork in 2022
- Statement about yourself, your art, why you should be given the scholarship and why you need the financial help
All the above documents should be submitted in pdf form to the email SARB-ART@resbank.co.za
