Skeem Saam’s Noah Leaves The Show
One of the most notable young characters on SABC 1 daily drama, Skeem Saam – Austin Rethabile is leaving the show, iHarare is reliably informed.
The fan favourite character’s last episode on Friday left so many heartbroken.
On the show, Austin plays Noah who is the troubled son of Mokgadi Maputla.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the crimes he committed a while ago while he was still staying with his grandmother.
His behaviour took a turn for the worst when he was left by his mother in the care of his grandmother. But did not get the proper upbringing he needed.
Now that he has found his mother and is staying with his mother’s in-laws, his past has been creeping in slowly to date.
And on his last episode, he finally paid for them.
Even though the production company has not yet announced that Noah was leaving the show, it is quite clear from the storyline that he will not be available for the next season since he should be facing imprisonment.
His storyline had to end with him going to prison.
It is a norm for production companies to lay off their actors by not killing characters. This is usually done if the character is set to feature again on future episodes.
Such can be the case of Skeem Saam’s Noah whom we believe may appear in the next seasons of Mzansi’s most-watched television show.
Twitter went abuzz last night when Noah got his sentence.
It became apparent for his fans that this was the last of him on their much-loved drama series.
