So, since our international Queen revealed that she is shooting a movie in Thailand, I have been searching the net for any stories from Thailand or Hollywood about movies shooting in Bangkok.
Nothing was coming up. Covid clearly affected productions worldwide.
I remembered, Pearl has been training a lot.
So, I searched for martial arts related projects.
Still, nothing.
Then it hit me. Combine the two in my search… Netflix & martial arts.
Yesterday I started researching martial arts movies and shows tied to Netflix.Then I cross referenced that to Thailand. Nothing was coming up, until I stumbled into an article revealing that Wu Assassins may have a second season.
While there is no confirmation from Netflix, the source material revealed some interesting clues that connected.It was revealed that the show’s second season will be a two part movie.Interestingly, part of the story will have a South African connection.And there is was… the nugget I have been searching for.Netflix project with a South African connection. And the show will also have a Thailand angle.Can’t be a coincidence that our Pearl is shooting in Thailand and a Netflix project with SA story connection is too.So with that, it became evident that our Pearl Thusi is shooting Wu Assassins and she is the South African connection in the second season’s plot.
