1.         INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

Systems Analyst (1 Post)

 

The incumbent duties will include:

  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
  • Designing new computer systems and frameworks.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Risk mitigation planning.
  • Collaborating with ICT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
  • Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organisation.
  • Running training sessions and workshops on system processes.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a first degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems or equivalent, plus at least two (2) years post qualification work experience. Proven ability to develop Software Applications using PHP, Java, C#, Delphi, C++, Python, plus adequate experience in creating applications on the following platforms Linux, Windows Server, iOS, Android. Knowledgeable about the following Software engineering principles Agile Software Development, Software Frameworks (e.g. Laravel, CakePHP, and Yii), Networking/network protocols – TCP/IP, UDP, Version Control Management using GIT, Service Oriented Architectures (WSDL, XML), and Unified Modelling Language (UML) for System Modelling and Software Quality Assurance (Software Testing Methodologies). Proficiency in using data base management system software and program testing software. In addition, applicants should have knowledge of business reporting tools such as business object and crystal reports.

2.        PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT UNIT

Procurement Specialist (1 Post)

 

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
  • Member of a Professional Board.
  • At least two (2) years relevant experience.

3.        LIBRARY

Library Administrative Assistant (1 Post)

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • First Degree in Archaeology, Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies/Records and Archives Management.
  • Masters Degree in Archaeology, Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies/Records and Archives Management will be an added advantage.
  • At least one (1) year experience in an academic library.

4.        BURSAR’S DEPARTMENT

Accounting Assistant/Senior Accounting Assistant/Chief Accounting Assistant (1 Post)

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • ND/HND in Accounting.
  • At least six (6) months relevant experience in a similar work environment.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) is a requirement.
  • Experience in using accounting packages such as Pastel/Hansa, etc is a distinct advantage.

5.        INNOVATION AND AGRO-INDUSTRIAL PARK

Stores Clerk/Senior Stores Clerk (2 Posts)

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • At least five (5) ordinary level passes including English and Mathematics.
  • National Certificate/ND/HND in Purchasing and Supply/Logistics/Stores Management or Accounting.
  • At least one (1) year relevant work experience.
