Zodwa Wabantu Gets A Weave After Swearing Off Long Hairstyles
New year, new hair, that is the mantra for popular dancer Zodwa Wabantu.
Zodwa Wabantu, who is well known for her signature natural hair and junk afro has decided to trade her short hair for longer tresses.
The dancer looked unrecognizable after going through a glow up which saw her getting make up done and spotting a long Weave.
We must say she looks absolutely stunning.
Although her fans are used to seeing Zodwa with the short hair, they were more than happy to see the change, after all, variety is the spice of life.
Zodwa shared the picture and captioned it: “Boss Zodwa Wabantu”
The dancer has stated in the past that she hated wigs, weaves and long hair and that she preferred her natural look.
However she seems to have indulged a bit.
Sis recently moved from Durban to Joburg and got herself a cosy home in Fourways.
Zodwa cited that the reason she moved to Joburg was so that she could make more money.
“I am moving to Joburg; please welcome me with businesses, bookings, any opportunity that’s going to make me a hustler, a better person going after money,” she said on her Instagram.
Zodwa indicated that she would be moving to Jozi for good.
It seems she celebrated being a Jozi girl by giving herself a makeover.
However Zodwa indicated that she still touches base in Durban when she has gigs.
Sis is also working hard to secure the bag.
She revealed that she has an egg and chickens business venture going on at the moment.
Zodwa Wabantu said with the lockdown and uncertain future, she wants to make sure that she always has options and other ways of making money.
I don’t know what the future holds for artists, and I don’t want to be broke. That’s my biggest fear. I had to be proactive and think of other ways to make money.”
She’s already started selling the chickens and eggs, with Kelly Khumalo being one of her clients.
